Security Response
Security Forces and law enforcement personnel from the Michigan Air National Guard, U.S. Customs & Border Protection, Michigan State Police and other federal, state and local agencies participated in a joint security exercise at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mich., Tuesday, May 10, 2011. As part of the exercise, Security Forces, federal agents and police officers responded to a report of an armed intruder inside a building. Selfridge Air National Guard Base is home to units of all five branches of military service and several agencies of the federal Dept. of Homeland Security. Chief Master Sgt. Keith Edwards and Chief Master Sgt. Robert Dobson exchange a handshake during the ceremony in which Edwards relinquished his position as the command chief master sergeant of the 127th Wing of the Michigan Air National Guard, a role that is now held by Dobson. 127th Wing Command Chiefs
The six chief master sergeants who have served as the command chief master sergeant or senior enlisted advisor of the 127th Wing gathered together March 12, 2011, to mark the occasion of the installation of the wing’s current command chief, Chief Master Sgt. Robert Dobson. At the ceremony were CMSgt. (ret.) William Livesay; CMSgt. Michael Dalton, who is currently the command chief for the Michigan Air National Guard; CMSgt. (ret.) Keith Edwards, the wing’s outgoing command chief who retired in the same ceremony; CMSgt. James Hewett; CMSgt. Dobson; and CMSgt. (ret.) Stephen Krajewski.
