Security Forces personnel at Selfridge Air National Guard Base participate in a security exercise at the base on Tuesday, May 10, 2011. The Airmen, members of the 127th Security Forces Squadron, Michigan Air National Guard, were armed with dummy weapons during the exercise. As part of the exercise, the Airmen responded to a report of an armed intruder inside a building. In addition to the Airmen, officers from several local, state and federal police agencies in the area participated in the exercise. Selfridge Air National Guard Base is home to units of all five branches of military service and several agencies of the federal Dept. of Homeland Security. By being co-located on the same base, the services and agencies are able to maximize training opportunities through such joint exercises. (USAF photo by John S. Swanson) (RELEASED)
