F-106 Reunion Visit

On June 10, 2011, the Robotic Systems Joint Project Office at Selfridge Air National Guard Base held their third annual Robot Trot. Over 100 runners competed in the 5K race. Several other runners also competed in a 10-mile race to qualify for the Army 10-Miler, which will be held in Washington D.C. later this year. Selfridge Airman awarded Bronze Star
Technical Sgt. Supapon Lawson, an aircrew flight equipment specialist with the 107th Fighter Squadron, was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for exceptional meritorious service at a ceremony held at Selfridge Air National Guard Base on June 6. Lawson served as an aircrew life support technician during a deployment to Iraq in which she volunteered for several tour extensions, which lengthened her stay to almost two years. On hand during the medal presentation ceremony were Lt. Col. Douglas Champagne, 107th Fighter Squadron commander, TSgt.
