127th Wing Change of Command
Brig. Gen. Michael L. Peplinski accepts a U.S. flag upon his retirement from the Air Force after more than 32 years of service. Peplinski had been serving as the 127th Wing commander at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mich. Handing the flag to Peplinski is Major Gen. Robert H. Security Response
Security Forces and law enforcement personnel from the Michigan Air National Guard, U.S. Customs & Border Protection, Michigan State Police and other federal, state and local agencies participated in a joint security exercise at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mich., Tuesday, May 10, 2011. As part of the exercise, Security Forces, federal agents and police officers responded to a report of an armed intruder inside a building. Selfridge Air National Guard Base is home to units of all five branches of military service and several agencies of the federal Dept. of Homeland Security.
