Boot Donation
Chief Master Sgt. Mike Carroll and Senior Master Sgt. Mark Kaufmann (in civilian clothes) unload bags of boots to be donated to the MCWARM program at St. Margaret of Scotland church in St. Clair Shores, Mich., Dec. 15, 2011. The program provides clothing, shower facilities and other services to the homeless. Earlier in 2011, the U.S. Air Force changed the regulation governing what color boots were authorized for wear with certain uniforms. Many of the Airmen from Selfridge Air National Guard Base donated their old boots for distribution to the homeless program. More than 100 pairs were collected.
