Master Sgt. Harold Hayes collects a DNA sample from inside his mouth during a bone marrow drive at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mich. March 5, 2016. An Airman of the 127th Wing at Selfridge is in need of a bone marrow donor due to illness, prompting hundreds of military personnel in the Wing to submit samples for a possible match. Organizers said information on the samples will be provided to a national database that could potentially aid many people, in addition to a possible match for the Selfridge Airman in need. Hayes is the first sergeant of the 127th Air Refueling Group. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Tech. Sgt. Dan Heaton)
