Miller received Truman Award
U.S. Representative Candice Miller was presented the Harry S. Truman Award at the Selfridge Base Community Council luncheon on October 16, 2012, by retired Major General Gus Hargett, National Guard Association of the United States’ president (right). “She has been a true stalwart for the Guard…she’s not about words, she’s about action,” said Hargett of Rep. Miller. Michigan Adjutant General Major General Gregory Vadnais (left) was on hand to thank the congresswoman for her continuous support of Michigan National Guardsmen.
