Members of the 127th Security Forces Squadron, Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan, check in with leadership prior to inprocessing at Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center here on July 27, 2021. SELFRIDGE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Mich.-- Airmen from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson, Arizona, launched an A-10 Thunderbolt II training mission here today, as they take part in Mobility Guardian 21, a robust and relevant training exercise designed to test Mobility Airmen through a challenging, realistic and detailed scenario based on relevant real-world security challenges and future conflicts. More than 1,800 Total Force personnel from multiple commands and branches of the military are partnering for 13 days, dispersing operations from six locations in the upper Midwest and over the Great Lakes to simulate degraded and operationally-limited environments.

Tech. Sgt. Brian Faulkner, a Health Technician, with the 127th Medical Group, administers the COVID-19 vaccine. The 127th Wing began inoculating Airmen with the COVID-19 vaccine at Selfridge Air National Guard Base on Friday, Jan. 8. More than 60 personnel at the base, primarily Security Forces and medical personnel, were in the first wave to receive the shots, administered by the Wing’s medics.
