SELFRIDGE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Mich.-- Airmen from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson, Arizona, launched an A-10 Thunderbolt II training mission here today, as they take part in Mobility Guardian 21, a robust and relevant training exercise designed to test Mobility Airmen through a challenging, realistic and detailed scenario based on relevant real-world security challenges and future conflicts. More than 1,800 Total Force personnel from multiple commands and branches of the military are partnering for 13 days, dispersing operations from six locations in the upper Midwest and over the Great Lakes to simulate degraded and operationally-limited environments.
