F-89C Restoration
140317-Z-ZZ999-001 -- An F-89 Scorpion, painted as it would have appeared while flown by the Michigan Air National Guard in the late 1950s and early 1960s, is the newest addition to the Air Park at the Selfridge Military Air Museum, which opens for the 2014 season in April. The F-89 on display at Selfridge Air National Guard Base is the only known restored F-89 "C" model on display in the country, possibly in the world.
