Commander's aircraft

Known as the “commander’s aircraft” for its distinctive red accents to the squadron markings on the engine nacelles, tail and fuselage, this A-10 Thunderbolt II is seen at Selfridge Air National Guard Base outside of the base operations building in early March 2016. A-10s at Selfridge are flown by the 107th Fighter Squadron and maintained by the 127th Maintenance Squadron and 127th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Terry Atwell)
