Selfridge Airmen Depart for Angel Thunder

Rachel Barton, a broadcaster for the 127th Wing Public Affairs Office, focuses on an approaching KC-135 Stratotanker flown by the 171st Air Refueling Squadron at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. The aircraft is about to take off to refuel the 107th Fighter Squadrons A-10 Thunderbolts IIs bound for Angel Thunder at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona. Angel Thunder is the largest joint service, multinational, interagency combat search and rescue exercise, providing personnel recovery and combat search and rescue training for military units.
