Detroit Red Wings players Kris Draper, Chris Osgood, Brett Lebda, and Dan Cleary visited Selfridge Air National Guard Base on September 18 along with the Stanley Cup. The Red Wings, 2008 Stanley Cup Champsions, were on the road heading to training camp when they stopped by the joint military installation in Harrison Township, Mich.
