A CH-47, Chinook, is parked inside Hangar 1416, the new home to Detachment 1, Bravo Co. 3-328th Aviation Regiment, at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. The Michigan Army National Guard unit has been stationed at SANGB for a short time, making due with smaller facilities after a lengthy deployment. The new hangar is roughly one-third larger than their old facility, and will allow for all 4 of the unit's aircraft to be housed together in one location with better weather protection and maintenance operations.
