Kid Rock and his entourage ended their Tour for the Troops on Saturday, Dec. 12, flying back to the U.S. through Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mich. The tour, which lasted about 10 days, had the AF Reserves escorting the rocker and a handful of other celebrities, including singer/songwriter Jessie James and comedian Carlos Mencia to military installations in England, Germany and Turkey, as well as bases in Southwest Asia. Airmen of the 127th Security Force Squadron and the 127th Logistics Readiness Squadron assisted with customs checks and the unloading of pallets of luggage, musical instruments and stage equipment.
