Accra, Ghana (9 April 2010) – Master Sgt. Tim Forys, pest control specialist with the 127th Civil Engineering Squadron, applies pesticide to the temporary living quarters of a detachment of Air National Guardsmen from the 127th Civil Engineering Squadron, a unit of the Michigan Air National Guard. The detachment was deployed to Accra, Ghana, to work with the North Dakota Air National Guard and the Ghana Air Force at Akota air base. The unit is working on doing major renovations to a technical training building at the base. North Dakota and Ghana are partners in the National Guard’s State Partnership program, in which state National Guards partner with emerging nations.
