Investigation of Legionnaire's disease narrows

Mr. John Ambrose, epidemiologist with the U.S. Army Public Health Command, addresses media at a subject matter expert availability on Saturday, Aug. 7, at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. Also shown behind Ambrose are (left to right) Maj. Gen. Kurt Stein, commanding general of TACOM, Lt. Commander (Dr.) Lee Hampton, epdemic intelligence officer with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Brig. Gen. Michael L. Peplinski, 127th Wing commander and Selfridge Base Commander. Ambrose and Dr. Hampton discussed the legionnaire's outbreak at Selfridge and provided detailed information regarding the ongoing investigation.
