Major Gen. Gregory J. Vadnais, The Adjutant General of the Michigan National Guard, speaks before a meeting of the Selfridge Air National Guard Base Community Council April 19, 2011. During his comments, Vadnais called Selfridge a national model for the military, as the base is the host for numerous Dept. of Defense, Dept. of Homeland Security and related agencies.
