Donald Russell, logistic planners for the 127th Logistics Readiness Squadron, work on deployable work stations, creating an impromptu logistics office inside the lobby of the North Star Inn, at Elmendorf Air Base, Alaska. They are seen here preparing the X-Man list of 127th LRS personnel which will be used to create a passenger manifest upon redeployment back to Selfridge, ANGB, Mich., where the 127th is based as part of the Michigan Air National Guard. In late July and early August, approximately 40 Airmen from the 127th LRS spent their two weeks of annual training integrated with the active duty and guard personnel of Joint Base Elmendorf/Ft.
