Master Sgt. Craig Shepard holds an M-9 pistol. Shepard, a member of the 127th Communications Squadron at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mich., won 2012 National Trophy Pistol Match held this summer at Camp Perry, Ohio. In his first shooting competition ever, Shepard placed first among 400 competitors.
