Insignia Tells Tanker Story
Every number and insignia on an U.S. Air Force aircraft or a uniform has a meaning. These numbers on a KC-135 Stratotanker at Selfridge Air National Guard Base identify the tail number of the aircraft and the aircraft’s local wing, in this case, the 127th Wing.
