Operation Snowbird 2015
A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft line up for taxiing as the 107th Fighter Squadron prepares to takeoff to Operation Snowbird at Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz., on Friday, January 23. Operation Snowbird allows military flying units to take advantage of the optimal weather conditions and live-fire ranges available in southern Arizona during the winter months, when home station training may be hampered by snow and ice.
