The meeting, a component of the Air Force’s environmental impact study, provided a forum to collect public comments and concerns regarding the F-35 bed down proposal. Even though Selfridge was not one of the two bases selected as a preferred alternative to base the F-35, the base is still considered a reasonable alternative.
