Airborne Training
Airmen and Soldiers from two states stand by some of their equipment prior to spending a day in joint training at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mich., Aug. 13, 2012. The Soldiers are from C Company, 151st LRS and the 165th QM, from the Indiana Army National Guard. The Airmen are special operators from the 107th Weather Flight, Michigan Air National Guard. The Soldiers and Airmen spent a day conducting joint airborne operations, with each individual making several parachute jumps during the day. The training allowed the Soldiers and Airmen to maintain their proficiency in a variety of skill requirements. By training together, the Soldiers and Airmen are able to maximize training opportunities at a lower cost. (Air National Guard photo by SrA. Toni Stusse)
