Brigadier General Michael Peplinski, 127th Wing commander (left), accepts a plaque commemorating the seven years of Air Sovereignty Alert mission performance from the Deputy Commander of the Continental Region (CONR)-NORAD, Brigadier General Andre' Viens, at a ceremony Oct. 2, marking the end of the 127th Wing's alert mission. The 127th Wing passed the mission to the 180th Fighter Wing, Toledo, Ohio, earlier this week.
