Honor Guard Training
Trainees and members of the 127th Wing Honor Guard fold the U.S. Flag over a casket during a training session at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mich., Feb. 10, 2012. In addition to the empty casket, volunteers acted as “grieving family members” to assist honor guard trainees learn the appropriate ceremonial honors to be rendered at a veteran’s funeral. The honor guard held a training session to qualify six new Airmen to serve as members of the unit. (U.S. Air Force photo by John S. Swanson)
