Mammen, commander, 127th Wing, celebrates his final flight with family and colleagues of the 127th Wing at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan, Aug. 3, 2023 after serving more than four years as the leader. Mammen, commander, 127th Wing, taxis for takeoff in a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft on his final flight as commander of the wing at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan, on August 3, 2023. The 127th Wing is home to approximately 1,500 Airmen, operats both the A-10 Thunderbolt II and KC-135 aircraft missions and hosts nearly 5,000 personnel from five of the six branches of the military and the Department of Homeland Security.
