A U.S. Coast Guardsman assists members of the 127th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Small Air Terminal, in loading cargo onto a C-27 Spartan in advance of a deployment here on Tuesday. The 127th Wing, command unit of Selfridge Air National Guard Base, provided the expertise and equipment to U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Detroit, a longstanding active-duty unit based here since 1966.
