Special Operators Train With Indiana Soldiers Published Aug. 28, 2012 127th Wing Public Affairs SELFRIDGE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Mich. -- The 107th Weather Flight is actively seeking potential Airmen to join that elite team. The Weather Flight is a small team of Air Force special operators who, in addition to their military combat skills, are trained to be able to provide weather forecasting data to commanders. The unique skill set of the team is in high demand to support a wide variety of missions. The team recently spent a day in joint training with Soldiers from the Indiana Army National Guard, as both Airmen and Soldiers honed their airborne parachute skills with several jobs at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, where the 107th is stationed.
