Tracking Selfridge History
Dick Soules, left, and Frank Brown look at an old scrap book, possibly kept by a child in the 1930s, that is filled with newspaper clippings and other items that track the development of aviation. The scrapbook is a part of the collection of historical materials in the library of the Selfridge Military and Air Museum at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mich. The two men are among a group of a half dozen or so museum volunteers who are working on cataloging the various items that exist at the museum, such as the scrapbook. The two men were working at the museum on Oct. 9, 2012. (Air National Guard photo by TSgt. Dan Heaton)
