SELFRIDGE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Mich.-- Master Sgt. Sheila Lipe, with the 127th Maintenance Group here, asks Brig. Gen. John D. Slocum a question during the Wing's, "Lunch and Learn," event hosted by the 127th Wing Diversity Council Thursday. Members of the newly-formed Diversity Council, along with Slocum, 127th Wing and Selfridge Air National Guard Base commanding officer, organized the question-and-answer forum for members. The group covered topics such as career-broadening opportunities, the mission of the Diversity Council, recruiting and retention strategies and what it means to be an ambassador of the 127th Wing to the community.
