Operation Snowbird 2015

A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft line up for taxiing as the 107th Fighter Squadron prepares to takeoff to Operation Snowbird at Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz., on Friday, January 23. Operation Snowbird allows military flying units to take advantage of the optimal weather conditions and live-fire ranges available in southern Arizona during the winter months, when home station training may be hampered by snow and ice. About 200 Airmen and 10 aircraft from the 127th Wing deployed and will support this year's operation. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Brittani Baisden)
